AN OBSERVATION OF THE CHANGING RATE IN EOSINOPHILE LEVEL NORMAL AND AI ENALECTOMIZED RAT UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES RECEIVING STRESS AND CORTISNE ADMINISTRATION

Abstract
1) Eosinophile level of normal rats revealed strong individual variation;
Rats weighing some 128 gm. showed eosinophile numbers of 246¡¾152/mm3
Numbers of eosinophile cell were low in time when they were increasing body weight markedly, compared with the numbers observed after the stage of maturation, when no distinguishable gains of weight noted.
2) Adrenalectomized rats exhibited higher Eosinophile level then normal one.
3) Process taking blood from, rats reacted as stress and anesthesia weakened the
stress, the deviation between the decreasing rate was smaller in anesthetic group
than non anesthetics.
4) Some other factor besides glucocorticoid of adrenal corticoide might play a part in the decreases of the circulating eosinophile cells of the rat. It might be fair to say that there was-not a quantitative relationship, but a qualitative one between the doses of cortisone administered and the rate off decreases of eosinophile cells in each ,case (normal, rat group and adrenalectomized group).
5)The rate of decrease of the eosinophile was higher in normal rat group in case of having administered the same amounts of cortisone.
